Steps to update the Trainer assigned to a Course

 


Learn how to update the trainer that is allocated to a Course.

If one of your Trainers can no longer lead a course, you can easily assign a new one to keep your Course schedule on track.

Avoid needing to cancel your Course by identifying a good-fit replacement trainer!

Update the assigned Trainer on a Course

This step will take you through updating the assigned Trainer on a Course.

 

  1. From the Main Navigation menu select 'Courses Class' or 'Courses Web' this will open the Course DataGrid

  2. Search for your Course using the search bar in the top left of the DataGrid using the Course Name or Course ID

     

  3. Right click the Course and select the 'Edit' option from the context menu

     

  4. Use the Section Menu to navigate to the Resources Section

     

  5. Remove the existing Training by clicking the 'X' next to the Trainer name

     

  6. Proceed to add another Trainer by selecting 'Select' to the right of the 'Trainer' field.

     

  7. Select the best fit Trainer with an availability type of 'Available'

     

  8. Select 'OK' when the trainer has been identified

     

  9. Click the ‘Save’ button to update the changes

     

  10. Optional - To document why the trainer has been updated on your Course, you can add a Note to the Course

    You have the option to select the checkbox that allows the Trainer to see the notes from their My Teaching view.

  11. Click the ‘Save & Close’ button

If your Trainers travel a lot, use the Resource Calendar in ‘timeline mode’ to get a holistic view of where your Trainers are in the days leading up to the course
