Steps to add a Note to a Course

 


Learn how to record additional information against a Course in a Note.

If there is important information to share with your colleagues about a Course, easily add a Note to capture the details in an easy to access and report on location.

Recording Notes ensures that your team can stay informed, supports their collaboration, and keeps a record of your Course updates for you to refer back to.

Add a Note to a Course

This step will take you through adding a Note to a scheduled Course

 

  1. Open the ‘Class’ or ‘Web’ Course DataGrid from your main navigation menu on the left

    Course Class or Courses Web main navigation menu

     

  2. Find the Course that you would like to add a Note to by applying filters and/or searching the Courses DataGrid

     

  3. Once you have found your Course, right-click on it to view the context menu options for this Course, select the ‘Notes’ option

     

  4. This will open the ‘Notes’ DataGrid

     

  5. Click the ‘Add Note’ button

     

  6. This will open the ‘Add Note’ pop up box

     

  7. In the ‘Details’ section, double check that the Course showing is the course you wish to map the Note to

    If this is incorrect, use the ‘Select’ button to select the correct Course from the options available

  8. Under the ‘Notes’ section, you will see there is a drop down for Note Type, here you can choose what the note relates to such as Booking Adjustment, Payment, Quick Note etc,

     

  9. Add your note into the ‘Note’ section

     

  10. Under the action section, you can choose whether Trainers can see this note or not by ticking or unticking the checkbox

     

  11. Once the form has been filled in, click the ‘Save & Close’ button

You can add your own Note Type options in custom list items which can be found under Profile > Administration > Custom List Items
