If any of your Courses require your customers to have completed another Course before they book, you can set this up using required Awards! This ensure your Users have the necessary requirements for your Courses well ahead of attending. This guide shows you how to link Awards to Course Templates, to set up pre-requisites.

Add Required Awards to your Course Template

1. Start by going to ‘Course Templates’ from the Main Navigation Menu

2. This will open the Course Template DataGrid

   Open

   

3. Using the search bar, search for the Course Template you want to add the Associated Required Award to

   Open

   

4. Once you have located your Course Template, right click and select ‘Awards’ from the Context menu

   Open

   

5. This will open the ‘Associated Awards’ page for your Course Template

   Open

   

6. Scroll down to the ‘Associated Required awards’ section

   Open

   

7. Click the ‘Add’ button to add a Required Award

   Open

   

8. This will open the Award DataGrid pop up box

   Open

   

9. Here you select one or more Awards to add to your Associated Required Awards

   Open

   

10. Once you have selected your Awards from the DataGrid, press the ‘OK’ button

11. You will now see your Awards have populated

    These Awards are necessary prerequisite Awards - without these Awards, a Delegate will not be able to book onto any Course associated to this Course Template. A Required User Award does not need to have the status of ‘Completed’ for the booking to be allowed, nor does it need a completed date

     

12. The next step is to add the Minimum Required Awards

    This is the number of required awards that a User must have to be able to book any Course associated with this Course Template.
    
    

13. Click the ‘Save’ at the top of the page to save your changes
