Steps to Add a Note to a Course Template

 


Learn how to record additional information against a Course Template in a Note.

If there is important information to share with your colleagues about a Course Template, easily add a Note to capture the details in an easy to access and report on location.

Recording Notes ensures that your team can stay informed, supports their collaboration, and keeps a record of your Course Template updates for you to refer back to.

Add a Note to a Course Template

This step will take you through adding a Note to a Course Template

  1. Open the ‘Course Templates’ DataGrid from your main navigation menu on the left

  2. Find the Course Template that you would like to add a Note to by applying filters and/or searching the Course Template DataGrid

  3. Once you have found your Course Template, right-click on it to view the context menu options for this Course Template, select the ‘Notes’ option

  4. This will open the ‘Notes’ DataGrid

  5. Click the ‘Add Note’ button

     

  6. This will open the ‘Add Note’ pop up box

  7. In the ‘Details’ section, double check that the Course Template showing is the course you wish to map the Note to

    If this is incorrect, use the ‘Select’ button to select the correct Course Template from the options available

  8. Under the ‘Notes’ section, you will see there is a drop down for Note Type, here you can choose what the note relates to such as Booking Adjustment, Payment, Quick Note etc.

     

Please Note
You can add your own Note Type options in custom list items which can be found under Profile > Administration > Custom List Items

 

  1. Add your note into the ‘Note’ section

      

  2. Once the form has been filled in, click the ‘Save & Close’ button

     

  3. Your note has now been added to your Course Template
