Open the Course Template DataGrid from your main menu on the left Click the ‘Add Course Template’ button at the top of your DataGrid This will open the new Course Template form Enter the key details about your Course, including the Label, select ‘Web’ as the Course Template Type
Please note - the Course Template ID will automatically populate if you leave this blank Enter the Course Timings, Number of Places, and Cost of the Course
Please note that your settings here will be automatically inherited by the Courses you schedule using this Course Template, however, you will be able to override them if any of these Courses have a different cost, duration, or min/max places Course Timings -
a. Duration is how many days, hours or minutes your Courses will be and the Duration Type is whether it is Day, Hours, Minutes
b. You can now add a Default Start & End Time to your Courses. Neither of these options are mandatory, but when you do provide a default start or end time for a Course Template, this will override your global start/end time settings when you schedule this Course. This means that, for example, you can set your global start and end times as 9am to 5pm, and then use this option for any Courses that don’t follow that timeframe
Course Availability -
a. You can set the Minimum and Maximum places for your Course, this means that for example, 1 Delegate must book for the Course to go ahead and 20 Delegates is the maximum, the Course will automatically change to ‘Fully Booked’ once the capacity is reached.
b. You also have the option to set a Minimum and Maximum age for your Courses. For example, the minimum age maybe 16 and the maximum age 100. *Please contact a member of our Support Team if you wish to have age restrictions enabled, this is free to enable.
Cost -
a. The Cost is the total amount for your Course and the Cost Type is how the Course will be charged, for example, is it per Delegate, per Session, per Delegate per Day etc.
b. You can select whether your Course will be Tax Exempt or not by selecting the Checkbox available
c. You may allow Partial Payments for your Course which means Courses can be paid in parts rather than the whole payment at once. The Partial Payment Unit Type decides whether the Partial Payment will be fixed or percentage, Add in specific webinar details
Please note these can be overridden at the course date level so if you have a permanent link add it to the template but if you generate your webinar details per course you can leave this section blank If you have them, attach your Document Templates and Surveys to your Course Template Sign-in Form - available to Trainers, this typically contains just a list of Delegate names with a space for them to sign their name Register - available to Trainers, this typically contains more information about the Delegates for the Trainer(s) to reference Certificate - the Course Certificate that will be emailed to the Delegate when they complete the Course (this must be set up as a Workflow) Course Survey 1, 2 and 3 - the Surveys that can be emailed to the Delegate when they complete the Course (they must be set up as a Workflow) Pre-Course Survey - the Survey that can be emailed to the Delegate ahead of their Course (this must be set up as a Workflow) Trainer Survey Form - the Survey that can be emailed to the Trainer (this must be set up as a Workflow)
Check the ‘Advertise’ checkbox if you wish your Courses that use this Course Template to be available to book on your website To track compliance and expiry dates for your Delegates on this Course, select an Award type and enter a lifetime (if left blank the Award will never expire) Click the ‘Save’ button to create your Course Template
