Learn how to update the standard cost for a Resource
Whenever the standard cost associated with a Resource increases over time, it is possible to update the default cost, doing this would cause a lot less administration per course because the correct price would already be in place. This can also apply if and when the standard Cost of using a Resource decreases,
Making changes at the root of the Resource will mean once these resources are used, the new price (higher or lower) will apply automatically to the Course Date, this saves a lot of time and work. It is also worth pointing out that this default Cost can also still be overwritten if and when needed.

This step will guide you through updating a standard Resource cost
From the Main Navigation Menu, go to ‘Resources' and then ‘Manage’
This will open the Resources DataGrid
Use the available DataGrid filters and/or the search to find the Resource, you can do this by searching the Resource name or the Resource ID
Once you have located your Resource, right click & select Edit from the Context Menu
This will open the Resource Details page
Navigate to the ‘Costing Details’ section
Update the ‘Cost’ and ‘Cost Type’ of the Resource to the new cost
If you would like this cost change to be assigned to the Resource on any existing (future-only!) Courses, check the ‘Update Assigned Costs?’ checkbox
Press the ‘Save’ button at the top of the form to save changes to your Resource
