Learn how to stop advertising multiple Courses at once for public bookings

If you need to take multiple Courses down off your website, and prevent people from being able to add it to their basket, it is a very quick process to update it to make it hidden!

Setting your Course to not longer be advertised means that, not only is the Course no longer available to display on your website, it will also not be available to book in your Learner Portal.

This step will run through how to access the list of Courses that are currently advertised

You will use the Bulk Edit option to update multiple Courses in one go!

Please note - The Advertise tick box must be un ticked at the Course template level as well to ensure it no longer shows within your Web page

  1. From the Main Navigation Menu got to Courses> Class, Courses>Web depending on which Course you are looking to advertiseOpen the ‘Class’ or ‘Web’ Courses DataGrid from your main navigation menu on the left

  2. This will open the Courses DataGrid

  3. Recommended: Add the ‘Advertise' column to your Courses DataGrid so that you can see which of your Courses are advertised and which are not
    To add additional columns into your DataGrid, click on the ‘Change Columns’ button at the top right of the DataGrid results

  4. Use the ‘+' button to add the Advertise ‘Advertise’ column and click on the 'Apply’ button

  5. You will now see the information you need, ‘Advertise’ column included within your DataGrid

  6. Select the multiple Courses you no longer wish to ‘Advertise’, selected Courses will have a blue background colour

  7. Select the 'Bulk Edit' option at the top of the DataGrid

  8. You will see the first option available is ‘Advertise’ and the tick box checkbox next to it is un-ticked, not checked

  9. To stop advertising coursesyour selected Courses, leave this tick box un-tickedthe Advertise checkbox unchecked

  10. Click Save in the top right cornerthe 'Save' button to apply your changes

  11. Your Courses will now show as ‘No’ under the Advertise ‘Advertise’ column within the DataGrid

  12. If you visit the section on your web page where you want the Course to ‘Advertise’ your Courses were advertised, you will now see that the Course’s Courses are no longer showingavailable
    Please not the below is an example table showing a list of courses, yours may your will look slightly different depending on how yours your website has been configured
