The Bulk Edit feature available from your platform DataGrids provides you with the ability to update multiple rows with the same information in one go.

This functionality allows you to efficiently update multiple records at once, to save you time and reduce repetitive work.

Bulk Editing is available from most of your platform DataGrids, and there is a wide range of setting that can be bulk edited, please note that not all data can be updated using the Bulk Edit function.

How to Bulk Edit

1. From the Main Navigation Menu, select the area of the Platform that you wish to use the Bulk Edit option from

2. This will open the corresponding DataGrid for the area that you have selected

3. Select the records you wish to Bulk Edit by clicking the checkboxes, this will highlight the rows in blue

4. Click the ‘Bulk Edit’ button at the top of your DataGrid

5. This will show a drop-down option that defaults to the first possible option that can be updated by the tool

6. Using the dropdown, select the information you are looking to bulk edit, please note that not all information can be bulk edited

   Options available within the dropdown will vary depending on which DataGrid you are using

7. Once you have chosen what information you would like to update, you will need to provide the value that will be set against each of your selected rows
   Some may be free text boxes for you to enter the information in, some may be dates, or numbers, others may be dropdown boxes

8. Optional - you can Bulk Edit multiple fields for the same selected rows by using the '+' button

9. Once you have entered all of the information needed for your Bulk Edit, click the ‘Save’ Button to apply your changes to all of your selected rows
