Learn how to update information for multiple items in your DataGrids at once using the Bulk Edit tool
The ‘Bulk Edit’ feature available from your platform DataGrids provides you with the ability to update multiple rows with the same information in one go, to save you time and reduce repetitive work!
Bulk Editing is available from most of your platform DataGrids, and there is a wide range of settings that can be bulk edited (please note, not all data can be updated using the Bulk Edit function).

How to Bulk Edit
This step will show you steps on how to Bulk Edit data
Please Note
For this example we will be using the Courses Class DataGrid however, the same steps can be used on any DataGrid that offers the Bulk Editing option.
From the Main Navigation Menu, select the area of the Platform that you wish to use the Bulk Edit option from
This will open the corresponding DataGrid for that area
Select the items you wish to Bulk Edit by checking the checkboxes, this will highlight the rows in blue
Click the ‘Bulk Edit’ button at the top of your DataGrid
This will show a drop-down option that defaults to the first possible option that can be updated by the tool
Using the dropdown, select the information you are looking to bulk edit, please note that not all information can be bulk edited
Options available within the dropdown will vary depending on which DataGrid you are using
Once you have chosen what information you would like to update, you will need to provide the value that will be set against each of your selected rows
Some may be free text boxes for you to enter the information in, some may be dates, or numbers, others may be dropdown boxes
Top tip!
You can Bulk Edit multiple fields for the same selected rows by using the '+' button 
Once you have entered all of the information needed for your Bulk Edit, click the ‘Save’ Button to apply your changes to all of your selected items
