About Products & Services
The Products & Services module allows you to manage and sell non-course items, like hotel bookings, course materials, or additional fees. You can add Products and Services as optional or mandatory extras to your Courses or sell these separately.

Stock management | Keep track of your inventory and create alerts to let you know when levels are starting to get low. |
Shipping processes | Use Dashboards, Workflows and Tasks to manage your shipping process and even print your own shipping labels. |
Additional services | The Products and Services module allows your business to offer additional services outside of your standard training offering. |
Improved service | Improve your service offering by allowing your customers to book add-ons to their courses like hotels and purchase learning support materials. |
Detailed reporting | Dedicated DataGrids to view your Products and Purchases, this allows you to track sales and stock levels, as well as more complex reporting available using Dashboards or Report Writer |
Key Terms and Glossary
Product Type | This is a made list that helps you categorise your Products into groups, you can define your own Product Types using Custom List Items |
Purchase | When a Product or Service being sold, a Purchase is created to record the information about the sale |
Stock level | This is the remaining number of items available for a Product or Service |
Mappings | Mappings shows you the Courses that this Product & Service has been linked to |
Mapped Object | The Mapped Object is the label of the Course or Course Template that the Product & Service is linked to |
Billing Object | The Billing Object for a Purchase is the Account or User that is responsible for paying for the sale |
Alias | You can provide an ‘Alias’ to your Products & Services when they are mapped to Courses to sell them under a slightly different name, for example a Product & Service called ‘Handbook’ could have the alias of ‘First Aid Handbook’ when it is mapped to and sold alongside a First Aid Course |
Purchase Status | The purchase status is the current status of a Product & Service sale, you can define your own Purchase Statuses using Custom List Items |
