Read Access to your Platform's Database

Search for a solution

Having Read Access to your accessplanit Platform’s Database is a simple way to access all of the data stored within your platform!

Whether you require an advanced reporting integration, you need access to extra information to support an existing integration, or you want to be able to run your own database queries, the Read Access modules ensures that you have real-time visibility of all of your data!

Using the Read Access to the Database

You will need to have software installed to access the database and run your queries, such as Microsoft’s SQL Server Management Studio.

This is a chargeable module/integration, please speak to your CSM if you would like any more information about this feature.

Please note that your Read Access to the Database should not be used for integration with front-end tools such as websites where the data is constantly being updated, as this can have an impact on the performance of your platform.

Getting access to the database

Once you have purchased the Read Access to the Database module, please provide your Customer Success Manager with the IP Address (or IP Address range) that will be accessing the database.

The team at accessplanit will then whitelist the IP(s) so that you’ll be able to access the database through our firewalls.

Your Customer Success Manager will then provide you with the credentials to access your database:

  • Address

  • Username

  • Password

Key database tables

There are many database tables and views available for you to query.

Please see our Data Source Glossary for the most commonly used data sources.

If you have any questions or need any support with finding data, please get in touch with a member of our support team.
