January 2022

Your January 2022 update features a brand new integration with Google Calendar, updates to the accessplanit API Feeds, and a new integration with the payment gateway Adyen

Google Calendar

This release features our new module, an integration with Google Calendar for trainers!

This integration allows you to connect your accessplanit platform to your Google Cloud account to push and pull trainer calendar appointments.

To learn more about this new module and how to set it up, please check out our dedicated Google Calendar guide.

This integration will be an additional module, please speak to your CSM for more information.

API Feeds - Course & Venue Updates

There are several major updates coming to the accessplanit API Feeds in this release!

  1. The Courses API Feed now supports POST calls
This means that new courses can be added into your accessplanit platform via the feed. This is very helpful if you schedule courses in other software, such as a VLE or a CRM and need to bring those courses into your accessplanit platform with as little manual work as possible!
Not only can you schedule courses in your accessplanit platform via the API, you can also assign Trainers, Venues, and Course Exclusivity.

  2. The Venues API Feed now supports POST & PUT calls
This means that existing venues can be updated, and new venues can be added into your accessplanit platform via the feed. This is great if you have a separate software for managing your venues, such as an event or venue management system, and you would like to sync the venue information into your accessplanit platform with minimal admin involvement!

Workflows - Placeholders

The Placeholders module in your accessplanit platform now contains many more options to allow you to build more Workflows for Placeholder bookings.

The new options available in the Placeholder module in Workflows include:

  • Course End Date

  • Venue

  • Venue ID

  • Course Template ID

  • Course Template Name

  • Delivery Method

  • Course Is Sessional

  • Course Template Type

You can find these new Workflow filters in ‘Workflow Settings’, and they are available to use in the body of your Workflow Email Actions.

This means that, not only do you have more configuration options available to send more Workflows and keep your customers up to date, but you can also include more information in the emails themselves.
