Our latest update will be applied to your live system w/c 13th April

Please take a look through this page, or watch through our release notes video to find out what is new in your accessplanit system.

13th April Features

Translation - Login Language Selector

If you use the translation tool within your accessplanit system, your users can now set their language from the login screen!

The new drop down option on your login screen will contain all of the languages that your accessplanit system has turned on.

If you do not yet use the translation tool and wold like to, or if you would like to find out what other languages are available, just get in touch with your CSM.

Translation - Users Preferred Language

Based on the languages that you have enabled, you can now view & set your users' preferred language!

This is really useful for understand your user's preferences, particularly if you work across many countries or with a wide range of customers.

You can use this preferred language to set up various Workflows so that your customers always receive your content in the language of their choice, and this language selection will also control what language the system is displayed in for that user.

To set a user's language preference, find that user in the Users DataGrid and click to Edit their details

Within the Personal tab you will now have access to change their preferred language:

You can also Bulk Edit the preferred language for many users in one go, or import it for many users via the Import Tool!

Workflows - Password Resets

We have moved the Password Reset email content into Workflows 💌

We have kept the content of the email exactly the same for now, however you now have control over how these password reset emails look and what they contain!

Within your Workflows section of the system you will now find a new Workflow called 'Password Reset'

Within the Actions tab you can view and edit the content of the email that will send out to your users when they request a password reset:

You can make changes to the content of this email, and then use the Preview option at the top of the page to check your changes before you save! Please get in contact with our helpdesk team if you would like any support with updating this Workflow.

Setting up different Password Resets Per Language

Using both the new Preferred Language user setting, and the Password Reset functionality in Workflows, you can now set up different versions of your password resets for each of the languages that you would like to support with your customers!

To do this, set up a Workflow for each language using the 'Password Reset' model

Use the Preferred Language Name as your rule (i.e. Preferred Language Name - Equal to - French)

Build your

Then finally create your French password reset Workflow Action!

Please get in touch with the accessplanit team for any support with setting this up!

Importing - Transactions

You can now import transactions into your system via the Import Tool

If you have been looking for a way to log the transactions that you capture in your finance / accounting based system against your accessplanit stored invoices, this is a great way to do it!

You will be able to import your transactions periodically to keep your invoices up to date, and keep your administrator team in the loop with who has paid the balance of their invoices (and who has not!)

If you would like to explore the possibility of automating this process, please speak to your CSM.

Custom Fields - Sharing

We have begun the process of allowing your Custom Fields to be shared with other areas of the system.

We have started with sharing 'user' based custom fields with the 'delegates' area of the system, this means that (when shared) you will be able to use that user information to trigger delegate based Workflows, you can display that information in your delegate DataGrids, and include it in the content of your delegate based emails.

Custom Fields available in the API Feeds

Custom Fields are now available in the API Feeds to be read!

While it is not possible to update custom fields via the API Feeds yet, keep your eyes pealed for updates as that isn't too far away!

This means that any integrations using our API Feeds can be built in a really custom way for you, capturing and integrating the data that is more important to your business and systems.
